My piano teacher had her doorbell wired up to a light switch. She would flip it off when she saw people coming to the door that she didn't want to talk to.
@kalina - my dad used to let them stand on the doorstep in the rain, while he encouraged them to talk - from the comfort of the warm hall, with a cup of tea, just to see how long they would last
@RoryAlsop That's one of the bullhorns hooked up to the old alarm system. That points out the gable vent towards my neighbor. The other one is underneath the floor, pointing up, in my living room.
As I am such a fan of tech and gadgets, you'd be amused that I'm sitting here with post-it notes with games I must look at/purchase stuch to my ipad...
I'm still waiting for Elite Dangerous - signed up for one of the bigger pledges (mostly because I liked the t-shirt) but I'm getting very twitchy. Want it nao!
