Oreki is a ussualy lazy and energy saving kinda guy. After meeting Chitanda Oreki is unable to refuse her requests. Why cant he refuse it ? Is this because he is in love with her or is it a form of hypnosis?
In chapter 11 of Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya Drei!, having pinned down the main cast with his "conceptual interference," the Head of the Ainsworth Family readies a Noble Phantasm to take Tanaka out of the picture...
What Noble Phantasm does he use? Who did it originally belong to?
@iKlsR I can understand why someone would do that. They're usually pretty low quality questions which are only useful to the OP. I wouldn't go around downvoting them, but I'm certainly not upvoting most of them either.
@iKlsR I think there's a decent argument to be made for a similar policy to Arqade's, which allows ID questions based on images but not based solely on what you remember.
We don't need to do that at the moment, as we're doing fine answering them, but I'm also not seeing a whole lot of long-term benefit of allowing these questions.
At the very least it would eliminate some of the really bad questions that aren't really helping distribute knowledge to anyone but the OP.
Anyway I don't care enough either way on this, but I could see reasons to adopt such a policy.
All things considered I think this will be a great improvement for a few sites, in particular Math (but also some other ones), to avoid snowballing questions that are only getting upvotes because they're interesting to the broader network crowd while being rather trivial for the site itself.
However it will probably make it harder for us to get those kinds of questions which potentially bring in lots of new users across the network.
@Mysticial I didn't see that, but in any case I think if hot questions isn't the default it will do a lot to curb the random snowballing on rather poor questions that seems to happen a lot with the questions that top the collider.
@Mysticial I think it's impossible. The extreme amount of attention from those external to the community is precisely what makes multicollider questions end up terrible.
@Mysticial BTW this user has a bunch of other spammy posts.
@LoganM Well, it might not solve it, but there's a very simple way to make it a lot harder for the shitty stuff to get that much attention.
The method is to simply drop the # of answers multiplier from the equation.
The vast majority of the stuff that tops the multicollider are either easy questions where 10 people rush to answer, or open-ended non-constructive stuff.
One of the reasons why you don't see more questions like the branch-predictor where there are few answers but with one or two massively upvoted is because the current multicolider algorithm buries them.
@LoganM I enjoy looking at it. To see what's hot on SO and other interesting sites.
@Mysticial But that's not really the point of SE at all. It's the point of sites like Reddit or Hacker News or 4chan or the various chatrooms or other places like that. When you put it as the first thing in the top left on every page in the network, all it does is bring a lot of mostly non-expert attention to questions on what are nominally supposed to expert Q&A sites.
That's honestly exactly why the sorts of questions from MSE that make it to the top of the collider do. It's not because MSE people vote a lot for really basic questions, but because those are the sorts of questions that most of the SO crowd understand and will vote on. It creates a positive feedback loop.
On the other hand, there's no similar feedback loop for expert questions that get a lot of votes, even if they're really good, because the rest of the network crowd just doesn't understand them.
Christianity troll guy is still going at it. So far 8 questions and one answer. Two have been deleted via spam flags but 6 are still there.
It's times like this where temporarily auto-suspending a user with more than one or two posts deleted via spam flags would be a good idea. Doesn't seem like any of their mods (or even many of their users) are online, and this guy can presumably keep going as long as that continues.
@LoganM I read somewhere on meta that the reason why the hot questions list exists is because people wanted it - to see what were the best questions at the time. But I won't argue whether it's for or against what SE's goal is.
But yes, I agree that the problem is out of hand on MSE.
I've actually been compiling a list of questions which hit the top of the collider from MSE. It's at about 10 right now, mostly because I only check once every few days, but there's a clear trend of terribleness.
Seems like the spammer at Cristianity got bored, and all the posts have since been deleted. I screencapped 10 of them, though there could have been more. Rather than posting them all separately, I just combined them into one image to save space.
For anyone who wants to see the posts, click here. Warning: the image is pretty big, so don't try it on a low bandwidth connection.
It seems it's very hard to find decent recommendations for anime, manga and comics based on given favoured and disfavoured examples when I attempt it irl. I'm hoping on finding people here who are very wise on this subject/interest and would have seen a broader amount of works than the people I g...

Actually it's definitely the same account. It's linked to MSO, and I remember his MSO account was suspended. Probably for spamming given that he's suspended for 1 month from today.
This time one of their people did the really annoying thing of editing the spam to something less spammy. Makes my work more than double if I want to save these for posterity.
I don't think I'm going to bother screencapping these unless someone really wants them. The other ones above should be enough.
I'm gonna keep taking screenshots for a while longer, but I think the posted ones are sufficient as a sample for anyone who comes late. If someone really wants them for some good reason though then I'll post them.
This is really bad. I almost feel bad enough to make an account and go flag this guy, but that would wreck the experiment.
I'm not sure why this guy isn't suspended (or even destroyed) yet. They've had a mod on since he started spamming for the second time, and two since the first time he was spamming.
And he just got destroyed.
And recreated his account. I'm getting bored of this.
Apparently destroying doesn't stop them from making a new account with the same OpenID. I definitely saw his old user page deleted and he now has a new one.
Well, I'm Bach. I'm afraid that this is an opinion based question. "And you mother fuckers?" is a confusing question and, at best, will recieve merely a guess, rather than a researched answer. Thereby I'm flagging it. If you wish to ask a genuine Christianity question, we are all ears. — Thomas Jennings1 min ago
Can either of you check these questions and see if any of them are by him? http://meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/198520/ http://meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/198519/ http://meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/198516/ http://meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/198515/
In any case, then I don't know why he was suspended on MSO at around that time. I guess he could have been suspended for longer but the timing is pretty suspicious given that his suspension ends a month from today.
