?? smallbusiness.yahoo.com/advisor/… "while Windows-based software is streamed from an off-site computer" is this accurate?

@Mateo i think what they mean to say is that phones can't run wine, so windows applications have to be streamed via vnc. in that case it would be accurate

yeah, maybe. but it leads people to believe that the phone is not powering the desktop they way they put it.

Q: How to execute a group of commands as another user in Bash?

Nathan OsmanThere are already some existing questions asked here about running commands as another user. However, the question and answers focus on a single command instead of a long group of commands. consThere is an example of "how to do this" on Stuart Colville's blog, but the example used there and the explanation of why it works is unclear. To keep things simple: Let's say you have a bash alias like alias rxvt='urxvt' which works fine. alias rxvt='urxvt -fg '#111111' -bg '#111111'' wo...

any pyqt people around? i'm having the weirdest problem... i have a qstring. if i write it to a file and read it back as a normal list, everything turns out as you would expect. if I convert it from a qstring to a python string and split on newlines, however, something goes wooly and the text parsing that was working, before pyqt tried to propogate it's magic types in to all the other variables/structures it touches, is totally borked.
