I have been creating a geodatabase in Oracle environment for storing the featureclasses.

What is the best naming conventions for the featureclasses and tables?

In one of the support forum mentioned like the featureclass name should be singular instead of plural. While referring to the Oracle naming conventions it says the table name should be plural. Actually the featureclass is a list of features. So SQL naming convention makes more sense. I am confused.

Any advice?
