@NickAlexeev I'm not really waiting for the whole comment drama tbh. If I'd know pedantry was a requirement on trying to keep an analogy simple for a user that answer would not have existed, so I'm happier for it not to at all, though the reason is mostly the moany comments about what someone thinks the USB standard means to mean vs what I know to happen in the actual world of existing devices.
