@NoviceInDisguise I do not think to vignette is too much. Although rather then a vignette, you could have the darkness, wrap around the planet, so the bottom would be lighter then the top.

I'm with @someonewithpc... the vignette is total overkill. Go for about 1/4 strength and scale it back much further into the corners.

@GiantCowFilms I disagree with your seemingly "blend files are the answer" type of mentality. Good well written questions win out over blend files, period. If you have a poor question but with a blend file (at least personally) I will not download it, rather vote to close as "Unclear". I also except that a well written question (without a blend) will get much more attention, then "I have a problem with this blend..."

Well I agree that permanent blend file hosting would be a big benefit. However I do not think is is as important as that post is making it sound. I have never asked for a blend file in any of my 200+ answers.

@David :) I think the feature is a positive, and I will therefore go to lengths to see it to SE staff... I don't think the comments are reassuring though :/ It's kind of like a used car sales man trying to get a guy to buy a van, and two of his colleges standing near by talking about how it used to be owned by a drug trafficker or something (Doesn't effect the quality of the vehicle, so to speak).

RolandiXor♦ has a point, blend files are complex, and can be large. Most of the time we do not need your entire 300mb file. But like you said every other odd question has some specific setting that was changed and the original file might be needed.

So how do we keep blend files reasonable?

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I will not download a (especially a large file) blend file if it is part of a "bad" question. (kind of like this one blender.stackexchange.com/q/24866/2217)

Q: Rendering objects in the same scene with different sampling?

I'm rendering a crystal like object and another with a single planar texture, the first one needs to be rendered at high sampling and the second one doesnt, yet i need to render them both together, is it possible to give an object a number/quantity for sampling while for the others another number...
