@Earthliŋ I like the idea! Meta has a rep-threshold for people to post so we're less like to get spam edits. Also meta gets more activity this way (it has been a rather quiet part of the site).
Although I now see that the threshold to post on meta is only 5 rep points, but still....

@THelper But editing community wikis should be more...
100 reputation
Anyway, if we keep an eye on the posts, I think we can keep the spam edits to a minimum...

You're right, it's probably not a big problem. Do you have time to write a first initial general resources post on meta, just like on Japanese SE? Or we can just start with the apps question first and add the general resources post later when we have more media types....

@THelper Hm... I can write the post later today, I just can't write any answers. Well, I have a couple of books I could post. Can you post an answer about apps?
We should also get @EnergyNumbers on board. He seems to know many sustainability resources.

Are (pretty narrowed down) resource recommendation questions on topic?
I am interested in text exploring the relation between sustainable living and politics nowadays.

@Adolfo those are always tricky questions..... recommendations tend to be rather subjective so your question could be closed as such. If your question scope is wide and hundreds of resources apply, it almost certainly will be closed. But if you narrow down your question enough and only a handful of resources apply you are probably safe.
It's also how you pose your question. Something like "I really tried hard to find x but couldn't find it, does anyone else know?" usually isn't closed, but something like "what's the best resource for x" often is closed.
