Announcement: If the short blurb for your manga has more than 3-4 "special terms", I am immediately turned off.

Case in point, this description for Hundred:

The protagonist, Kirasagi Hayato, aims to become a <<Martial Arts Master>> using this Hundred. He managed to get into the battleship university <<Little Garden>>.
However ---

"H-How do you know my name?"
Around the roommate, Emil Crossford, who somehow knows him well (?), Hayato gets an uneasy feeling.
What's more, just after the entrance ceremony, he gets asked for a duel by the campus' strongest martial arts master <<Queen>> Claire Harvey...!?

Also random interrupting dialogue in the description is weird.

Otherwise, it'd just be "aims to become a martial arts master".

Basically every light novel adaptation recently seems to have these traits in their descriptions and it's just making me "ugh".

They actually had mods appointed before they went public.

@ʞɹɐzǝɹ At least in the fields I know about, Russian higher education hasn't been competitive since the collapse of the Soviet Union. I can see why they want to improve it, and it doesn't surprise me that this is the approach they'd take. But at the same time, I doubt the impression of low job security is likely to help attract more top academics any time soon, most of whom left for precisely that reason in the first place.

Closing diploma mills is fine, but closing research institutions isn't going to make the country more attractive to academics.

But I guess I don't know the specifics. One guy I know who did undergraduate in Russia before coming here told me there are only 2 or 3 good universities left in the country. If it's really that bad, they'll need to do a lot more than just closing the worst 40% of them.

@Gao i'm probably not going to watch any more Hollywood movies until the next Avengers come out and only if the Marvel Films in between haven't been aired which is why a 30 day free trail isn't all that good given the 3rd Avengers Movie is expected in 2018

It's the reason why i didn't need to stream any movies before the first Avengers Movie, all of the previous Marvel Filsm aired on TV, so far only Iron Man 3 has aired, no Thor: The Dark World or Guardians of the Galaxy

and i don't expect the latter till later on in the year if not next year

@Gao i thought with Crunchyroll you has full episodes but you had all the adds

buying a premium package removed the adds and got you HD quality episodes

which is one of the reasons people pirate films, for the HD Bluray copies
