Q: The liberal bias on this site is getting out of control

K DogPhillip just deleted an answer of mine, again, which was both well reasoned, supported, fine in both temperament and jargon. It just reached a conclusion he's uncomfortable with. This is nonsense. Censorship and vindictiveness all because this particular moderator doesn't like where the facts ...

@BradleyWilson heya ... I just rejected a whole bunch of your suggested edits as they were little more than just copy/pastes of Wikipedia
That sort of stuff is rather frowned upon
Adding tag wikis is great! But you should use your own words

@Carpetsmoker sorry about that. I'll work through them and properly write out a wiki for them. My assumption was that content was needed, but I will ensure the quality of the content is on par. Thanks for the heads-up, appreciate it.

@BradleyWilson That's okay
It's my impression that not a whole lot of people actually read tag wikis
Not beyond the brief excerpt anyway
So not sure if you want to spend a whole lot of time on that ;-)

@Carpetsmoker I don't mind, someone has to do it. I like contributing.

@Carpetsmoker how long does the suggested edit ban last for?

@BradleyWilson Did you get banned? Ow :-/
Didn't know the system banned users with many rejected edits
Doesn't it say?

@Carpetsmoker it just says, "You are temporarily banned from suggesting edits - please review your edit history."

@Carpetsmoker nice incentive then, I guess aha

> when you attempt to suggest an edit, a notice will be displayed containing the ban's expiration date.
You can just wait it out ... or if you really want it lifted you could make a meta post explaining what happened and ask one of the moderators to lift it.

@Carpetsmoker it's okay, I'll accept responsibility.
@Carpetsmoker and wait it out

@BradleyWilson Just to clarify - Tag wikis are not meant to be "information about a topic". They are meant to be "information about a tag" - what the tag's for, when to use it on questions, and incidentally a brief info for people unfamiliar with tag's topic.
@AaronHall Wonder if i'm the only politics nerd around here who didn't bother watching ANYTHING on TV this year. I haven't seen a single debate, nor inauguration (there's really no point for most part, just people saying obvious predictable things). I just skim summaries for interesting tidbits after the fact.

@DVK-in-Florida I only watched so I could say I did.
