@W5VO You also need to pull reset high.

@AnindoGhosh Hey, I've read your question; Very well put. Sorry for the delay
@AnindoGhosh I also had a look at the 2n7000's datasheet
Seems like a poor FET.. for a 3.3V gate voltage looks like it has an Id < 150mA. No wonder you need a replacement
Are the fets recommended in the answers available on your local market?

8:33 PM
@m.Alin Unfortunately, it doesn't seem either of those FETs are available locally. I will be going on a market raid tomorrow to ferret out any possible sellers, if they exist.
@m.Alin Yeah, the 2n7000 is actually not even specified for a 3.3 Volt supply, it's great for 5 Volts, or 4.5 Volts at worst.

:D :D :D
given the amount of TI ICs in my current design, figured I should be hanging out here :D
@AnindoGhosh ended up just putting together some logic gates (from TI, no less) to handle that shutdown functionality we were discussing yesterday

@TobyLawrence If it were not 3 in the morning here, I would actually read what you just wrote, and reply. Goooooooood night! :-)

:P
night!
