@Crashalot - Thanks for the kind words :) Glad I could help. A lot of topics on Wikipedia are, in my opinion, like a lot of textbooks in that they strive so hard to be technically correct that they don't use any analogies or more relatable (though technically incorrect) terms. This makes some Wikipedia articles on what should otherwise be straightforward topics needlessly difficult to read.
Anyways, I'm around. I try to check chat rooms on a daily basis, but sometimes that slips. I usually log onto the site daily, though that's been slipping a bit on weekends lately as I have a lot going on in my personal life. I always check it at work though :P You can always ping me @Chuck and I'll get a notification and will then typically respond in 1 business day. Good luck on your project!

One last question @Chuck: any suggestions on where to find CV experts? Been trying university labs and the OpenCV forum, but haven't found the CV version of you. :) The goal is to identify what, if any, hardware sensors could reduce the complexity of tracking and detecting balls and allow for real-time CV on a smartphone.

@Crashalot - No idea, sorry. You could try asking a question at Robotics or Stack Overflow. Be sure that the question is on-topic, by which I mean be sure that it's an answerable question based on a problem you actually face. Robotics chat is generally dead, but I'd imagine a place like Stack Overflow's chat would be a pretty happening place, but I've never been.

@Chuck I thought these kind of CV questions were off-limits for Robots?
