Is there any reason why 'active_callback' => 'is_front_page' doesn't work at all? I have it on one of my section and it the section doesn't show on any page when I insert that code
I'm using it in the customizer and when I register a section I only want that section showing when the client is on the home page so I use active callback which the customizer documentation says I can do but for some reason when I add it to the section the section never shows not matter what page I'm on
@StephenHarris great plugin EO - I like the feature with the repeatable events - I was just called to a site using it and to have a look at the changed agenda widget layout and was asked to find a way to restore it to the previous layout. I dug through it and posted what I found on wp.org - hopefully it's useful.
@birgire Yeah, I think I saw that. You raise a good point re: why are there only groups for 'day' mode. My assumption was that in week mode you are just displaying on group of events: that week. Hadn't occurred you might want to split that week up by day. I'll probably look into making that change in a future update.
I hate the agenda widget though. There's some really ugly code in there. 3.0.0 was a chance to clean it up a little, alas its proved more popular than I thought :)
@StephenHarris there are always some users that are content with status quo and don't like any changes at all ;-) I can just imagine the amount of work that goes into supporting and maintaining this. I compared (just by skimming through some files) the versions 2.x vs 3.x and one of the changes I noticed new underscore templates and the responsive full-calendar. Also noticed that you seems to be using javascript hooks, that's pretty cool. Wish that would be supported in core too.
