@GayotFow Or maybe it's the paragraph that's very harsh, the interpretation makes sense

@hippietrail friend going into Laos wants to know if you went to the Bolaven Plateau and had any thoughts / recommendations / tips

@MarkMayo voted to close your chat line, it is too broad/opinion based ;)

Yes I did. Tadlo is a very relaxed place to hang out. I can especially recommend Green Garden run by Martin from the Czech Republic and his girlfriend. They're lovely to hang out with and have great coffee and breakfasts but no dinner or Wi-Fi. There's three waterfalls within walking/hiking distance and you can watch the resort next door's elephant take its bath in the river each day.

It's just on the edge of the plateau and only got really cold one night out of the week I was there. I got the impression there's not many places to stay up the top but had to miss out on going up there this

Q: Competition: When will we hit 11,111 questions?

Mark MayoYou have two-ish weeks to enter, with a date and time (UTC) for when you expect us to find question 10,000 on the front page. Only two three four rules: write a date and time (UTC) before Feb 14th, 2015. you can't write the 11,111th question yourself. ONE guess allowed per user.

2:11 PM
@MarkMayo Shouldn't that be question 11111?

2:45 PM
or probably 11.111 (using a point)

3:39 PM
@MarkMayo no worries

4:27 PM
No I meant in the question body. Fixed it now.

@Dirty-flow 11,111 is common in (some?) English-speaking locales
11.111 is definitely wrong, that's German
The dot is the decimal separator in English

4:58 PM
I prefer the French way but it's difficult to type ;-)
That's also part of some ISO standard I think

wow, a ton of new questions overnight
@Relaxed @Dirty-flow @JoErNanO Much like 10,000, some of us use ',' to separate groups of thousands. So one million is 1,000,000.
They're not required, just makes it visually easier to work out the size.
