@GayotFow I've washed my hands, this time he actually removed the key point of the quote and still asked me to clarify. I give up.

1:13 AM
@MarkMayo His credibility has been depleted.

I just questioned him on the words. I had to look up munificent, and if native English speakers have to consult dictionaries to understand your question, it doesn't help your cause.

you can drop a 50 - 100 point bounty on his META question and walk away :)

I'd rather drop my bounties on real questions on the main site :)
And I don't think we can put bounties on meta questions

oh. too bad :)

Reminds me, I haven't done a bounty in a while. Let's go hunting

Kasper SourenWhat's a good way to travel overland from Douala to Brazzaville/Kinshasa terrestrial public transport? Good meaning some fair balance of cheap and fast. 4 part series

ethiopia?
brb skype

1:23 AM
Four-part series in which British art historian Dr Gus Casely-Hayford explores
the pre-colonial history of some of Africa's most important kingdoms.

The African continent is home to nearly a billion people. It has an incredible
diversity of communities and cultures, yet we know less of its history than
almost anywhere else on earth.

But that is beginning to change. In the last few decades, researchers and
archaeologists have begun to uncover a range of histories as impressive and
extraordinary as anywhere else in the world.

Right to Rent
From the 1 December 2014, private landlords of properties in Birmingham, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley and Wolverhampton, should check that prospective new tenants have permission to be in the country before renting to them. The checks are straightforward and the majority of landlords will be able to conduct them without having to contact the Home Office.

@menotalk yes! It is a dish by the javanese immigrants in Suriname

no I never come across it..
maybe I have but I never get names of foods..

it is french fries, but instead of patatos maniok is used

maybe i have seen it
a lot of fried stuff they have
i do not eat most of the oily stuff..

4:50 PM
yes, seen a lot of stuff looks like that..
they even fry bananas :/

yes with pancakes dough around it

and sometimes they just put it in bags and eat it like potato chips..
i made the mistake of eating it thinking it was potatoes..
had to chew it till the end.. man

ah chips from bananas?

yes
looks similar, eventhough this one is from india i guess
all this is ok compared to something called "telur asin"
that's hell...
that's a salted duck egg..
I don't know how do they eat it.. i think it is Chinese originally.. not sure

5:17 PM
Well I once saw goose eggs boiled in horse urine. I tend to try everything people eat, but there are limits

yes, limits..
with all the good stuff available around us, why would we eat things boiled in horse urine...
or live monkey brain...

Well people eat it as a delicatesse

delicatesse.. not sure what is that.. but do you mean appetizers?
they are ewwytizers for me..

:)
@menotalk do you have experience with recieving packages in a hotel?

yes.. a lot
i usually order stuff before i go to hotels in usa..
and get them when i am there..

5:24 PM
Do you call the hotel before to ask permision?

no..

Ok
Now I hope italian webshop deliver within a week in Italy

as long as you put the right name, the concierge will get you
airline provide us with 5 stars hotel.. they do good service..

:)

although one of these hotels charged me $5 per day

5:26 PM
I am going to a 4 star

i think all hotels can handle this..
never lost anything this way..

For keepign the package?

sometimes it reaches earlier
sometimes i doesn't reach until i leave.. so i tell any of my friends to pick it up for me..
i always get it..
i sometimes leave comments for the shipper (leave at concierge) or something similar..

That is going to be difficult since I don't speak italian
and the shop I want to order doesn't speak anything but italian

i do not think you will need it..

5:28 PM
I want to discuss with them to deliver to my home and that I don't mind paying extra to sending it outside Italy

i think any package that comes to a hotel, and it does not belong to the hotel will be transferred to the concierge,,,
if i were you i would find someone who speaks Italian to help
@JoErNanO is Italian..

5:33 PM

Because they even have ceramic desert glasses
which are really beautiful

i am not into these things..
