Hi.
Mitch
Hello
I was wondering if I can ask you a few questions regarding a project that me and a friend of mine are working on for the university where I work
Nathan Osman
Sure.
Mitch
We're trying to write a Library Integrated System, and was wondering should we use Java or Python?
Nathan Osman
My personal recommendation would be Python.
To be fair, I haven't written any server applications in Java.
But my experience with Python has been very positive.
Mitch
What would be the best frame work?

You might want to take a look at Django, one of the more popular Python frameworks.
There are other good frameworks, but Django is by far the best for getting started with.
Mitch
Would it be OK for an enterprise solution?
Nathan Osman
Yes. Django works great for small projects and large projects.
For example, I created this app in Django for tracking my personal finances:

Another nice thing about Django is that it has a nice tutorial for introducing you to the various parts of the framework.
And they do a good job of keeping it up to date.

Mitch
Would it be OK to ask for your help if needed once we start the project?
Nathan Osman
Sure. As long as I am around, I'd be glad to answer any questions.
Mitch
Thanks a lot.
See you around then.. :)
Oh, by the way, any news on NitroShare for Android?
