(Is convincing trolling an interpersonal skill?) :P

@Tinkeringbell No.

@apaul :( there goes my question idea for a troll question :P

@apaul can "troll" be something that someone identifies as?

Ooh, yeah, can it be? One of those subculture thingies...

I have to interact with this troll... How do I recognize when he's serious or not? :P

@TheSnarkKnight Eh, could be, but I'm not sure why someone would want to.

4:53 PM
@apaul because they think they are being hilarious of course!

@apaul well, as a troll, I have certain needs that must be recognized. When I yank people's chains, it's part of my culture, and I feel oppressed when I can't let loose with the snark, the flame-bait, the mock-identitarianism. IT really is a hard existence.

@TheSnarkKnight Meh.... I hope that's sarcasm?

@Tinkeringbell yes, that was sarcasm. I'm not lying when I say I'm a grandmaster troll, but I do not troll SE

@Tinkeringbell He's literally called the snark knight. What do you expect?
Well thats not fair you don't know richard for as long as I do :p

@Magisch A smiley or /sarcasm or something?

4:55 PM
@TheSnarkKnight I see what you did there... It's not a great look.

@Tinkeringbell That'd be sensible
Someone called snark that once and is still facing the consequences
Seriously though, we should wind down with this talk
chat is supposed to be welcoming for all users

@Magisch well, I'm welcoming the abuse, so there is that.
you know how hard it is to offend me. :D

@TheSnarkKnight Yeah, and since you're an 'experienced troll' you should know how easy it is to offend people! :P So please, don't do it again??
(And, as Magisch said, change of subject!)
Let's all do that feedback thing of @Tensibai

Well edit is on the answer

@Tinkeringbell that's why I was using self-effacing humor.
@JarkoDubbeldam :D

@Tinkeringbell good move. I think that's gutted any potential trouble.
