Hey!
If you don't mind, than I want to know some of you work, what you have stumbled on. I am energetically searching for more and have come to many things (mainly physic-things) which have opened my eyes. I don't know if you like the text I've written in the other chat, or if it fits into the discussion between the other person and you, but I just wanted to write that.
I haven't been on an university, but you don't have to calculate with thousands of formulars in order to understand what's going on and see the truth

I completely agree with your point about universities in general and also don't mind the fact you have no formal education :)
I do have it, as well as the experience of actually being "around" people who make their living out of science (and philosophy, too) but to be honest with you
I have come to the realization it's much more important to have the passion for knowledge and understanding new things, rather than just "attend" some university and get good grades.
I can tell you about many people who had great grades during their time in the university but if you ask them what they really remember now out of everything they remembered then
you would be disappointed as to how little do these people really actually know about some things.
This is why I don't mind talking to people with no "formal" background as long as they can show me some genuine interest in what we discuss.
I hope we can get that here :)
