@NiallC. If a private chat room is created by a mod, the other mods of the same site can see it, right? I have something I want to discuss with a mod-not on this site :)), but it concerns a different mod. Is there any private way to do that? I checked the contact us link and it looks like it goes to the SE staff, and I don't want to do that. It's ongoing, so this isn't an urgent request, just seeking advice! Thanks!

@Bamboo I meant to PEE into the soil at the bottom of the hole. The moisture that condenses and runs into your cup will be pure water (thank goodness)!

@4-K Well, there is some great free river gravel as well as sand (look on the inside bends of the river and be sure to check for gold, grins! Do you know how to pan for gold?). Take 3 or 4 5)gallon buckets...to keep different sizes separate. Wash sand and gravel by filling with river water, swishing and dumping. Get some soil farther up the slope to use instead of that other gunk. Now you just need compost.

@stormy Oh I see what you mean, that wasn't clear before - I didn't know that, but then, look where I live, no real wildereness other than parts of Scotland and maybe a little bit of Wales...

@Bamboo I know and I couldn't imagine not having the ability to get away from civilization. Gotta count any blessings we have, huh!
