I have the worst luck seeding hot peppers. This year I meant to start 14 plants but only left myself room for 7 in the pepper tray of which only 3 germinated, one of which died. :(

@OrganicLawnDIY Wow-you certainly are busy! We've just started seeing bulbs and perennials that should have been blooming a month ago. Better late than never. I even found a small pussy willow tucked beside a rhododendron! We moved here last March, so we probably didn't notice it. Do you or @J.Musser grow kale from seed? Do you have a recommended type for eating? Can I grow them now? I've only ever seen them in the fall. Thanks!
@NiallC. I was working on editing the sycamore tree question. I was even going to create a Lavender tag! It's a good thing I "refreshed" though, or I would have submitted an unnecessary edit! I have a question. I've refreshed a few times, and each time the two answers have switched places. Neither had any votes yet. Why would that happen? Curious......

@Sue Could it be the "N questions with new activity" notification? That shows up as soon as the relevant questions/answers change, and they'll be displayed if you click on the notification. However, there's a delay before those changes will show up if you refresh the page.
Hard to say without seeing exactly what you're seeing.

@Sue Sure, you can grow kale now if you want. I always choose a variety that has the flattest, smoothest leaves I can find, partly for texture (I'm too picky :/) and partly because it's way easier to clean.
