@J.Musser Thanks. Done and done. Would you mind checking to see if I did it right? Much obliged :)
I edited the first one first so the second shouldn't come up as a dupe, but with my rudimentary skills-who knows!
@J. Musser Speaking of dupes-please thank Frank for the question on Meta about changing wording for closing dupes! I intend to add a comment when I can word something other than "good idea!"
@J.Musser Symbolic perhaps? Looks like my church's logo.

@Sue lol
@Sue I don't think you need to keep second-guessing yourself. Both posts are great!

@J.Musser Thanks. I'm getting there, due in large part to patient assistance!

@Sue also, answered your question
xD
Or added a compilation of words as they came into my head.
If it's not very clear, let me know - I'll rephrase.
I'm 2 questions away from my next gold badge. I just can't think of anything to ask atm.

Trivia: on the whole site here, the most helpful post (rated by anonymous votes) is this one.

@J.Musser Thanks for the answer, and it's worded perfectly. Nice touch putting my picture in there. Close up those guys look pretty menacing! Unfortunately, around here tree removal is expensive, like many hundreds of dollars for that one tree.

@Sue Too bad we don't live closer, I could come in and remove it for ya

Sue
@J.Musser That's sweet. We had to have a sick pine taken down because it was threatening to fall on both our neighbor's house and ours. It cost $1,300 and that wasn't the highest estimate!
@J.Musser What's the exact definition of a well received question?
@J.Musser Would be so cool to see you get that badge. Then a new one would have to be invented!

@Sue not downvoted, I believe.
I do have well over 100 questions, but many were asked on the same day as others, so no badge yet.

Sue
Oh-that's easy, I can't imagine anyone down-voting you!

11:07 PM
@Sue Illuminator would be one to shoot for.
@Sue It's happened.

Sue
@J.Musser Yikes-who invented that crazy badge?!

@Sue lol.

Shog9 on October 07, 2014

We rolled out three new badges last week!

These recognize a pattern that sets Stack Exchange apart from the forums and message boards that came before it: answering and editing questions, the ability to not only write an answer that can be useful beyond the immediate asker but also re-write the question such that it can be found and understood by future readers. Thanks to this capability, brilliant explanations need not languish under titles such as “C++ problem” or “Java doubt” – having written an answer that ably fixed the problems in the asker’s code, it is possible to also fix the problems in his writing! …

@Sue Ok, according to this query I've been downvoted 4 times.
@Sue As you can see, I'm on my way. More than a quarter of the way there, iirc
Thanks @Uni

You're welcome! :)
My work here is done. vanishes

@J.Musser Was that from when you were new?

@Sue ider
@Sue One of them was this.
I was new back then.

Sue
@J.Musser Once I get better at answering, I'll get better badges. I love researching, but just realized how limited I've been by my iPad. You can't highlight or cut/paste text from websites, so I have to have a bunch of windows open and hand-write text into a document, then transfer that to a question.

@Sue ooh, not fun. Get a desktop.

Sue
I have an old laptop which isn't always functioning, though we did recently have the Geek Squad clean it up and those pesky pop-ups are gone.

@Sue Get a new one!

Not in today's budget, unfortunately, though since I've been so much time here on SE, I'm really craving one.

@Sue yeah, I mean If I had to only go through an app, I'd really have to cut my participation.

Sue
@J.Musser What was wrong with that question? Not enough detail?

@Sue they didn't commnt.
I don't mind, I have plenty more rep where it came from

Sue
@J.Musser Yup, especially a high volume user like you would never be able to do what you do! Plus you can't do queries or any of that stuff.

xD

Sue
11:28 PM
@J.Musser What brand/platform do you use?

I'm the only real user who has downvoted over 200 times, so can't be a hypocrite.
@Sue I'm using a lenovo. I also have a Toshiba laptop and a couple samsung laptops.

Sue
@J.Musser I've been reading about downvoting lately. I feel bad for people who get really dumped on! I've only done it once cuz I disagreed with both the answer and some language used.
Btw, can profiles be merged so all my questions, etc. are in one place? I forget what I put where, and I only have a few accounts-no idea how you super users keep things straight!!
What's an RSS feed?
@J.Musser What do you think of Samsung tablets?

11:45 PM
@Sue don't have one - idk
@Sue You have one profile for each SE site you log into, each linked to reach other.. If you have two accounts on one site, you can have them merged.

Sue
I found my whole collection of stuff!
I think anyway, have to look closer, but I think it's on my stack exchange profile, which is synced to my original profile from Seasoned Advice. I'll have to look at it more closely, but I think it's there.
@J.Musser I haven't forgotten this-still haven't figured out what you meant.........
