Straw bale garden phase 1; on top, two rows of radishes down the outside and a row of lettuces down the middle

On the left side, 12 strawberries (var. Seascape) in a zigzag pattern. I'll plant some marigolds along the side as well to prettify it a little

I'm going to have beans along the back row (that's what the poles resting on the back bales are for).

Peppers in the middle bar of the 'E', and I haven't fully decided what else; perhaps chard or kale.

I also have lots of "Olympia" strawberries trying to take over another part of my yard (they're extremely runner-y). If the Seascapes look like they're doing OK where they are, I'll transplant some to sides of some of the other bales.
