Still not able to figure out as to why conv. Of energy is not holding in interference

4:48 AM
One reason might be the detector D in the original question is an optical detector and hence it cannot measure any other forms of energy except that of light.
I think there will be loss of energy in some other form due to discontinuity of the waves due to interference
Otherwise THERE NEEDS TO BE ACCUMULATION OF ENERGY WHICH CANNOT BE TRUE

onsider an excited hydrogen atom in state n moving with a velocity v(v<c). It emits a photon in the direction of its motion and changes its state to lower state m. Find the frequency of emitted radiation in terms of frequency f0 emitted if the atom were at rest.
Sorry
Consider an excited hydrogen atom in state n moving with a velocity v(v<c). It emits a photon in the direction of its motion and changes its state to lower state m. Find the frequency of emitted radiation in terms of frequency f0 emitted if the atom were at rest.

Q: Mechanism of the reaction of an Alkene with excess HI in presence of CCl4

Daenys TargaryenThis was the given Alkene I thought of markovnikov's rule and that's how the final product should look like, but apparently that's wrong. I cant figure out the mechanism of this reaction too(will HI dissociate in the presence of CCl4?) Any help would be appreciated

what exception is that now?
HI + red P gives radicals
does it give radicals in CCl4 too?

4:18 PM
@Yashas may be ring is forming

that does not change the product
bridged cations follow Markovnikoff's rule
they just don't allow any rearrangement to take place
otherwise, they are the same

I mean the I attach to carbon chain attack

bridged cations are anti addition but that questionw wasn't interested in the sterochemistry
the non bridged cations follow SN1
you get both the products
you might get a little bit of extra inversion product
51% inversion and 49% retention

That is the product which the OP got in that question. The OP said their answer was wrong.

4:27 PM
But here , I think the Iodine attck the carbocation which is attached to carbon chain
I am not good in chemistry

Have anyone tried the question?
Consider an excited hydrogen atom in state n moving with a velocity v(v<c). It emits a photon in the direction of its motion and changes its state to lower state m. Find the frequency of emitted radiation in terms of frequency f0 emitted if the atom were at rest.

is it (cf0)/(c+v)

fo(1+v/c)

are you sure that is correct

Given as answer. Not sure
Mine is coming to be fo(1+v/2c)
How did you reach at that answer?

4:43 PM
simply I used dopplers effect

?
Is it applicable here?

waves chapter
I think it is

Anyway.. The answer is still not matching
NB: Answer will match if you consider effect of observer, not source

yes

But that does not make much sense if not nothing

4:56 PM
how much will you score?

around 209

what about yu

138 I got worried about maths and then killed my whole mood
are we going to get any bonus marks cuz some questions are debatable

It doesn't matter , just get prepared for advance
@ArchisWelankar don't know

4:59 PM
are you giving any test series

Studying at Allen

One of my classmate is getting 323
HHOWWW?
120 in physics, 115 in chem
@blue HE GOT THAT CP CV CORRECT LOL

In our institute highest is 343
:O
And I had listen in India highest is 355
lol
a student of aakash in karnataka
@Yashas

I am drunk
I don't want to talk now

lol
In this why piston will move , pressure is same

5:27 PM
@Yashas Even I got that correct :-P

343 is wayyyyy toooo high

Anonymous
I think those guys study 24*7

lol

@Koolman Temperature isn't same on both sides

does it depend on temp
@blue

Anonymous
5:30 PM
Yes, the hotter part cools down and contracts

Anonymous
The colder part warms up

Then for equilibrium pressure and temp both shoud be equal @blue
volume can vary

Anonymous
Yes!

Anonymous
Finally pressure and temp both must be equal

ohk
thanks

I am having inferiority complex now.....343 marks out of 360

I don't want to live anymore

That boy do 200 questions daily of maths of advance level
May be actually he does more
of only maths

same to you
Good night

Hi didn't know about this room until now!

Welcome @Utkarshfutous

Just to glorify the beauty of the question : the keyword "conducting" is very essential. @Koolman

why @MadhuchhandaMandal

6:09 PM
Otherwise initial condition would be equilibrium
