@snailplane I know I don't have to. What I wanted to say was that I wanted the book to be presented so that I could read it sequentially as an integrated grammar guide.

Japanese grammar textbooks are meant to be read sequentially, and the authors of those books present grammar points in a good order. A dictionary is in an alphabetical order.

A dictionary cannot be used as an integrated sequential learning material as is.

I'm now somewhere in the intermediate dictionary after reading it in sequence (then I stopped for a super long time)

I feel like there isn't a superior sequence once you get past basic entries like for particles and stuff

it's not like one entry is a prerequisite for understanding another entry

@crocket I don't think it matters that much what order you read it in. all the entries are pretty common grammar points, and they don't really depend on each other too much.

i mean they are common grammar points compared to the other 2 books

i didn't bother with the intermediate and advanced books because those were above my level
