@snailplane Nope, had no idea what a joinery is, though I would guess it is a noun form of join that is distinct from joint, maybe a place? With enough context it probably wouldn't throw me off. But my vocab size tends to test well beyond average so safe to say it is esoteric or specialized vocab
@snailplane Upon looking it up - interesting! I might have seen it in a few books before and forgotten. But yeah, a little esoteric, yet very amenable to learning from context.

Somehow English texts feel kinda emotionless or something compared to Russian/Japanese. Maybe I'm just not able to appreciate their beauty yet, I don't know.

@kuchitsu People call all sorts of languages "primitive", but I don't think it makes sense for any of them.

Yeah, that's not a very good word, but in general English seems less impressive to me somehow. Maybe I should try reading poetry or something.
