This really isn't a productive conversation.

@HizHa Please accept edits to your posts. People are trying to improve their formatting. Edits are not harassment. They're a part of how this site works.

Flaw will explain more about how edits work on Stack Exchange. I'm not really feeling well at the moment, so I'm going to leave the rest to him :-)

I get the sense you are feeling frustrated whenever edits are made and you feel they are unjustified.
How Stackexchange sites work, is that content is generated for the community by the community.
When users edit posts, we take it in good faith that they are editing in order to improve a post, whether it is in terms of content improvement, or formatting improvement. And we should not take these edits as a personal affront.
Usually content improvements are not as controversial since we can usually identify what is wrong language or what is a wrong answer.
Formatting improvements on the other hand may be controversial, and the general rule of thumb is that we try to respect the original poster's format unless: (1) the format is problematic in terms of markdown code. (2) the format is problematic when viewed on PC (such as having odd spacings and causing text to be out of place). And/or (3) there was no formatting done (entire post is in a single paragraph)
Since Stackexchange's content is for the community. It makes sense for posts to be edited in order to have formatting that is readable for the majority of the community. That is to say that it would not be good for the site to only be readable on one person's smartphone or PC, and be odd for everyone else.
If you are experiencing strange or difficult to read formatting for our usual posts, perhaps you could take a screenshot and describe what is problematic about your view of the format and post a question on our Meta site.

@HizHa Yes, but my Japanese is intermediate at best, and I may take some time to reply.

If the discussion is not productive, I absolutely will delete it.

> Why can people edit my posts? How does editing work?

All contributions are licensed under Creative Commons, and this site is collaboratively edited, like Wikipedia. If you see something that needs improvement, click edit!

Editing is important for keeping questions and answers clear, relevant, and up-to-date. If you are not comfortable with the idea of your contributions being collaboratively edited by other trusted users, this may not be the site for you.

If you'd like to be a part of Stack Exchange, @HizHa, you'll have to get used to people editing your posts.

That's how the site works. People are trying to make the site better by editing.

And the site is moderated. If a discussion is not constructive – if, for example, it is causing drama and upsetting users needlessly – then it may be deleted.

(Moving to Trash is the same as deletion. Either way, the moderators have a record of what was said.)

If you refuse to let anyone edit your posts, you may have to find another site to post on.

We move messages to trash since regular deletion still allows users to view the history of the message and what we want to do is to delete discussions that aren't productive and move past that without being able to bring back the unproductive discussion.

@HizHa It seems like you're upset, and it also seems like you don't plan to be reasonable about this. I'm going to give you a time out from chat for now.

Drawing out the discussion isn't going to help anything.
