My new kanji today is 柊. I also re-learned 俄然, which I apparently had in my notes already, though I didn't remember it...

hypochonria in japanese is starting to pay off
胸椎/胸椎骨　(thoracic spine)
酷使する　(overextend something)
although I'm doubtful if I could use the last one with 胸椎　which is what I was searching for
It seems to be more for metaphoric usages like overworking
