@diego I'm not surprised he's banned but I'm surprised the game reached a state where they had to do that. I thought it was obvious enough how terribly un-fun he was as a commander that not enough people would really play him.

(it's my understanding that other problematic cards being extremely obviously un-fun is the whole reason those problematic cards are not banned, such as Iona)

@doppelgreener The difference between Leovold and Iona is Leovold shuts down the entire table. With Iona most people aren't running mono-color decks (in my experience at least) and if they are there is generally not 2 people playing the same mono-color. So while it is super annoying if you are mono-color and she picks your color, in most other cases you can generally at least play some things.
