You know, the new Emerge mechanic works more sensibly in a set with DFCs since they made that change to the CMC of back faces of cards in the last rules update.

@murgatroid99 The only question on my mind is... wtf is the CMC of a Meld card?
I'm presuming Meld cards consist of one cars with a regular back (and a reminder text) and the other card that does the melding has a back face.
Does a Meld card then have the CMC of its front face or both front faces combined or 0?

@doppelgreener Tabak also answered that in a tweet, it is the sum of the CMCs of the normal cards
There are tentacles shooting out of faces (out of faces!), and all you can think about is converted mana cost. It's the sum of the 2 cards.

Also Brisela counts as commander damage if either Bruna or Gisela are your commander

Someone pointed out on reddit: Sigarda, Host of Herons protects you from Emrakul, the Aeons Torn's ability, and Sigarda, Heron's Grace protects you from Emrakul, the Promised End's ability.
Eh, that last link will work eventually
