@Gopi Right now, among the most recent 50 questions visible to me (that is, excluding deleted questions), 10 were closed. (1 was migrated to another Stack Exchange site.)

If you trust my rusty knowledge of SQL (read: you should not trust it), here is the table of the numbers of closed questions by month. According to this, 20% is on par to the average of the last month, although the ratio in the last month was higher than previous months.
