@DoubleAA I edited that answer. I hope that's okay (viz, assuming all upvoters on the original answer would upvote the new one). Anyone object?

@msh210 thanks. Anybody who wants to withdraw an upvote can do so because of the edit, so I think we're good there.

@YEZ This one is closer to the edge. It seems obvious to me that you'd need to know proper abbreviations to write and read certain Torah publications, that such writing and reading are (or very well could be) expressions of Judaism, and that experts on Judaism would be well-suited to identify said abbreviations. It's less obvious to me that identifying a standard font used in Jewish books is necessary for any expression of Judaism, and the question post doesn't provide any explicit ...
... motivation to help with that. It does, however, seem to be knowledge that experts on Judaism would be more likely to have than the general population. I'm not inclined to vote to re-open but would be if it included a Judaism motivation.

I'd completely forgotten about this and just had it come to my attention:
If I'm not mistaken, this is the very first Ada question on Stackoverflow! Woohoo! — Isaac Moses Sep 17 '08 at 15:45
There are only so many programming distinctions I can claim; I'll take em where I can get em.
