@MonicaCellio [Just catching up on backread here now.] It's a curious case: the closure was as off-topic, and I don't see how the edits improved the on-topicness. They did improve the answerability (and I've just changed my downvote to an upvote), but that's not how it was closed. I don't know why it was closed as off-topic, tbh. Would any of the closers -- @YEZ is pingable -- like to explain? (That's a request, not a demand. Its remaining closed is not dependent -- to my mind -- on your answering.)
@Lee Looks like it captures what was said in chat. Thanks for posting.
@msh210 I don't know how to change my close reason - I explained above I think it is too broad. I understand @IsaacMoses disagreed, but I am sticking to my guns.
@YEZ Well, it has two upvotes and another implied from @MonicaCellio above and another from me: that's 4 of the 5 necessary to reopen. If I see it garner another reopen vote, I'll reopen it, b'li neder.
@msh210 the original version sounded more like a trivia question while the revised feels like a question that's more relevant to the Jewish community. So maybe that's a relevant factor? Anyway, thanks for reopening (after it got enough other votes, including yours and mine).
@YEZ just had to wait until somebody saw it (or, rather, flags on it). @msh210 has deleted it (thanks).
