@HodofHod I don't see how this answers it at all judaism.stackexchange.com/a/7003/759. The question is clearly assuming that Daat Lachzor is the determining factor. @ShmuelBrin
And this one judaism.stackexchange.com/a/11080/759 is just explaining a potential problem that could arise in acquiring Israeli land on Yom Tov, which aside from again not focusing on the shittah at hand and moreover possibly being wrong (can't you buy land in Israel on Shabbat because of Yishuv Haaretz? Rama somewhere...), doesn't answer what would happen if you did buy/get the land somehow and become 'free' from yom tov sheni.
