@MartinSleziak There's still room for some small improvement for that script, we can edit it so that it deletes every "\right", "\left", "\limits" and "\displaystyle" since those aren't supported in Approach0 yet, and also it should replace "dfrac" or "tfrac" with "frac".
I was able to implement this last feature, but I don't know how to do it correctly for "\right" and others. Here's the updated version:
 javascript:(function(){s=window.getSelection().toString();var%20u=encodeURI('//approach0.xyz/search?q='+s+'&p=1').replace(%2F%5C%2B%2Fg%2C'%252B%E2%80%8C%E2%80%8B').replace(/dfrac/g,%20'frac').replace(/tfrac/g,%20'frac');window.open(u)})()

@Workaholic IIRC Approach0 does not differentiate between frac and dfrac, and I guess that other things such as \limits probably do not influence search either.

@MartinSleziak For frac and dfrac, no, Approach0 does not distinguish between them.

Yes, that's the reason why it should replace "dfrac" or "tfrac" with "frac".

I don't see any reason to replace them, if the search result are the same...?
As you can see in this example, dfrac and frac return exactly the same posts:

Does Approch0 distinguish between \frac and \dfrac? I suppose it does not (which is good). At least when I try to search for $\frac{\cos x}{\sin x}$ and to search for $\dfrac{\cos x}{\sin x}$, the first page of results is the same.

Ah, ok!
Thought that it did differentiate between them.
So only the \left and \right replacement feature would be useful.

@Workaholic I think they do not make difference either.

Let me try some tests...

@WeiZhong says that one of the features that he wants to implement is "query expansion, e.g. \left| a + b \right| +==> | a + b|", I interpreted that as meaning that \left and \right do play a role in the search query but it doesn't seem to be the case here. So I'll let him clarify this :)
