I think it is still possible with potential movement by the wizard after he answers and unknowable question

Ok, I am about to publish a proof as an answer that, given the rules I described of the wizard being able to teleport about truth and lies, even if he doesn't know
it is impossible
I think it is proof

I still think it might be possible to force an answer to be a paradoxical statement, like "this statement is false."
The wizard can move on truth, or he can move on lie, but he cannot move (or even respond out loud) with a paradoxical statement. Setting it up so that any verbal answer to the first question cannot be categorized as true or false should force silence.

is this statement is false, the wizard could answer no, because it isn't false, it is something between true and false
perhaps, is this statement non-true, though
Fuzzy logic is weird
I think fuzzy logic kinda ruins the puzzling though

Is the following statement true or false: "This statement is false."?

@user1540815 answer "no" is truthful
because it is neither true or false

Darn english's ambiguities. If you could give instructions like "Describe the following sentence as true or false: 'this statement is false'." they're forced into a paradox or silence

I think fuzzy logic kinda taints the whole puzzle into logical uncertainty
I think it isn't very elegant to use paradox though
also fun getting accepted on my first answer on the site :)
much win

Paradoxes hurt my brain, and I agree that solutions not involving them are more elegant, but if someone provided an answer relying on one I would have a hard time disputing it with the question as written

I mean, sure, you can allow someone to have a paradox as an answer, but that doesn't really make it any better than it already is
I mean, they would still have to have 4 questions, right?

Oh I'm talking about your proof of impossibility

wait, I just remembered I can solve this question in three questions
@user1540815 take it as a proof of impossibility while obeying law of excluded middle
if remain silent, the person in position knows who wizard is, so solvable in three
let me fix my answer

I've got to go, but thanks for answering my first question, and thanks for the chat! I will be happy to see your updated solution (and proof disregarding paradoxes) later.
