2 hours left in the election, and look at the stats:

> 1,267 voters were eligible, 423 visited the site during the election, 322 visited the election page, and 182 voted

only 182 have voted

I wonder why, of 322 who visited the election page, only 182 have voted

Don't care? Not enough info to distinguish between the candidates? Too much effort?

hmmm - actually, looking at the last security one, that percentage is similar: security.stackexchange.com/election/3

> 1,076 visited the site during the election, 929 visited the election page, and 445 voted

we had better percentage of folks visiting the site going to the election page

but only around 50% vote

similarly for security's other 2 elections

stats all available in elections.stackexchange.com

but you need to go to each individual site election page to get the voting statistics

How long to results typically take once the election ends?

@Dom you can get them almost immediately if you download the STV thingy

otherwise it's a few minutes

How can that be? I don't have any posts remotely close to that rep
