he kept focusing on the tag

however, I do think he will take it to heart

he seemed to change the tone of his mod messages regarding closed questions I saw one late yesterday

In this particular instance I think a chat room for he and the other mods to discuss things that have come up during the day could help

rather than unilateral decisions

yes but his comment about seeing Jiv for 10 minutes argues that it is not being used

and if that is the case I think the problem is on both sides we may just give Jiv more credit or disagree with him less

I don't see the harm in posting questions on meta

long term that amy not be a viable solution but in the short tewrm while the community works to define itself and the mods learn when and how to weild their powers I don't see a big negative woudl it hurt to have waited a week to make the decision

he said that meta gets little activity but that raises the chicken and egg question does it have low activity because of apathy or newness of the community or because they don't post these questions to elicit participation

I think the power users have a right to comment on these decisions

It will all work out in the end these type of issues are not uncommon in new communities

having said that not everything will work out as we like
