what do you mean by media query?

this site needs a mobile version that is 90% css and 10% php

like @media screen and (max-device-width: 480px)

i don't think i'm advanced enough for this. i know enough to build minor custom plugins and pretty solid themes though.

not sure, its not my site, but I think he mainly wants everything to just fit properly in andriod/iphone. And some things removed, like the ad slider and tabs

so you would not be designing much, just making it all fit

ya not bad, but I ended up customizing it completely so most of it is mine, some custom plugins as well

id rather not have to constantly tap my phone

just regular, I don't think you will need to change the html much

some things like the front page slider might need to be loaded via php
