Why is my question removed?

@Bradman175 It is Stack Exchange policy to delete posts where the OP is expressing suicidal ideation. It had been suggested (perhaps by their lawyers?) that this could be a trigger for others.

@anongoodnurse: I can understand that (though I'm not sure that's the worry of lawyers, actually), but wasn't it simpler to edit the post to remove the mentions to self-harm (which if I recall where mostly just in the title)? Seems insensitive to remove someone's immediate plea for help (genuine or otherwise) because it may trigger other people's response. And if this were the actual reason, there wouldn't be any documentary on self-harm and suicide on public TV.

@haylem The answers addressed suicidal iseation; it would have required editing a lot out of the answers as well.
