@DanBeale If you have reasonable suspicion (e.g. a user has stated "I am [under 13]") then alert a moderator through flags and it will be handled as has already been discussed in meta. Demanding that a user tell you their age, however, is inappropriate.

Secondarily, keep comments limited to the question that was asked. Meta and chat exist for handling issues external to the question content.
