I just looked at the moderators wanted meta post again. Two items I noticed: 1) balancedmama totally rules that election - you're entitled to one very big grin! 2) Tim notes this is the site's "last leg of its journey to graduation" - I can hardly wait to see what site design Jin is concocting!

@TorbenGundtofte-Bruun Yeah, I noticed that statement from Tim too! I think that is pretty exciting, but he's just vague enough to make you go hmm???

In regard to ruling the election - must be all the, "Welcome and thanks for your contribution" is all I can say. It certainly isn't my spelling - vague? Really?

@KarlBielefeldt Its retrospective, so I'm not particularly attached to it - we've already made our mistakes/drawn our line in the sand and the outcome has, been for better or worse, what it needed to be, but I thought it would be a good question and was curious what kinds of responses I might get.

Then, I pushed post and thought - ooo, maybe it is really more of a relationship question. . .

@balancedmama I was just going to say that I thought R&D wasn't doing too well as a private beta, then decided to check (I hadn't logged in in a day or two) to see if things had improved.

Apparently they haven't... The site is closing down tomorrow.

So yeah... don't migrate that :P

@Beofett aww that's sad to hear :-/ knowing how much effort we put into our private beta.

then again, things usually fail for a reason, and better to fail early than late.
