@TorbenGundtofteBruun @cabbey We've had a number of comments, complaints, and disagreements over the policy on disagreeing with the premise of a question. Is it worthwhile to open this up for a renewed round of discussion, and solicit community feedback as to whether we should continue with this policy, or revise it?

If people are unhappy with the current policy, it needs to be discussed.

I'll be offline the next 50 hours or so but lets see how much attention the existing meta post gets, or post a fresh one. I don't think there will be enough users for a meaningful chat session but I might be surprised.

@TorbenGundtofteBruun It's been more of a trickle of complaints and debates over the past few months. Some of the users have apparently decided they were okay with the rule as-is, but there seems to be enough of a pattern, and a few people who seem to generally disagree, that maybe on Monday we should post a new meta, and invite people into chat to discuss it
