@Tezz and one thing forgot to mention that I think Dhyana will ultimately lead to Turiya.

1 hour later…
9:21 AM
@SreeCharan Destroyer changed his mail account?

@Krishn repository to depository. The current one in the profile description is the correct one.

Oh OK....

Will you ask for the scriptures?

No.... simply

@Pandya Hmm.. dhyana will lead to Turiya...

9:24 AM
@Tezz Hello... How are you?

@KrishnShweta Hi.. I'm fine.. how are you....?...

I think I'm fine :P

Haha lol..😀😀

1 hour later…

@TheDestroyer Rajiv malhotra on Devdutt patnaik.
Jan 25 at 9:49, by Pandya
Btw, I've one sentence in praise of our site: Vacharambhanam Vikaro (xyz.SE) Namadheyam Mrittiketyeva (Hinduism.SE) Satyam! Haha /cc @Tezz @KeshavSrinivasan
@Pandya what is the meaning of the above line?

11:14 AM
@SreeCharan Namaskaram, I had used it in joking sense. It's from Chhandogya Upanishad.
@SreeCharan Have you read Chhandogya Upanishad?
@SreeCharan Refer Chhandogya Upanisha 6.1
> VI-i-1: Om. Once upon a time there was one Svetaketu, the grandson of Aruna. His father said to him, 'O Svetaketu, live the life of a Brahmacharin. Dear boy, there never is anyone in our family who does not study and is only nominally a Brahmana.'

VI-i-2-3: Having gone (to the teacher's house) when twelve years old, he came back when he was twenty-four old, having studied all the Vedas, conceited, arrogant and regarding himself as very learned. His father said to him, 'Svetaketu, dear boy, you, I see, are conceited, arrogant, regarding yourself as very learned; did you ask for that teach
@SreeCharan ^^ Read Verse 4,5,6
@SreeCharan The meaning of what you're looking for is similar to that of verse 4.

2 hours later…
1:31 PM
@KeshavSrinivasan Btw, I just thought that as according to Vishishtadvaita, Jivatma is different from Brahman, it may/should be of some specific size! What do you think?

1:50 PM
@Pandya - Hii ,Namaskar , How are you? 😊💐

@SwiftPushkar Fine, and How are you? 💐☺

@Pandya - BTW See the defination of "Vidnyana" विज्ञान by Shree Krishna told to Udfhva ➡एतदेव हि विज्ञानं न तथैकेन येन यत।
स्थित्युत्पत्त्यप्ययान पश्येद भावानां त्रिगुणात्मनाम्।।15।।
When one no longer sees the twenty-eight separated material elements, which arise from a single cause, but rather sees the cause itself, the Personality of Godhead — at that time one’s direct experience is called vijñāna, or self-realization.
@Pandya Yes me too 👍👍

@SwiftPushkar Wow! Looks like smriti is inspired by shruti -- वचारम्भणं विकारो नामधेयम... /cc @Tezz Haha

@Pandya - it's a Adhyatmik defination , and not the the interpretation we do today of word Vigyana, Actually the word Vigyana used in puranas and BG is in this context only.

@SwiftPushkar Yes, Adhyatmic definition is very important that's why I recommended to visit hinduism.stackexchange.com/a/8788/277 in my recent answer.

2:08 PM
@Pandya Yes definitely , actually there are very few contradictions inbetween Vedas , upanishdas and puranas , but puranas explains these philosophies in simple language thats it.And in SB all the things from vedas and upanishdas ,Gita Yoga etc.are discussed in very detail , so it's like a single Ref.book to read the teaching of all this.

2:19 PM
@SwiftPushkar Yes

Looks like many people here are supporter of puranas
does anyone know who is Rickross ?

@RakeshJoshi Are you not supporter of Puranas?

no i m not
BTW does anyone know who is Rickross ?

oh bengali... that is why keen on tantra :P

2:28 PM
@RakeshJoshi Have you read Srimad Bhagavat or just not a supporter? :P
@RakeshJoshi Btw, What Hindu Scriptures do you support?

what is special about srimad bhagwat?
I can understand that there is so much of Vaishnavism in Gujarat. Especially Pusti sampradaya :)

Anf which scriptures have you read?

quite a few , why ?

@RakeshJoshi Just wanted to know your interest.

yes i have already said before. that i like to study variety of topics. even non hindu stuff. i am also keen about zoroastrian faith.
i used to get fascinated by puranas when i was young later i didnt find much substance in it and high amount of interpolations. i was also introduced to so called vedanta by some people but i found issues with that as well. i m a spiritual thinker.

2:36 PM
So, you're spiritual thinker and not agree/satisfied with Purana or Vedanta. How about Upanishads?

@RakeshJoshi haha , yes atleast i am the strong supporter of puranas , Most of the things we know about hinduism today , are because of the puranas , where everything from Morality to Moksha is discussed in detail😊

what is the use of such things ?

@RakeshJoshi This is your prejudice abt.puranas.

most of enlightned beings have acknowledged vedas and other scripture. how many have done with puranas?

@RakeshJoshi You will not know what is the use ,unless you read it first 😀isn't it😊

2:38 PM
I never talk of a subject of which i m not aware of.
i m just asking you
has any higher masters ever said that " All the credit of my spiritual journey goes to the puranas" ????

@RakeshJoshi Those who want to showoff their panditya , refute puranas or other texts , but a true seeker never discriminate between texts.One can't complete his study without studying puranas.Puranas is Pancham Veda पंचम वेदा ➡So a wise man never see's any difference between texts.Even thought they are from different religion as said by you"even non hindu stuff"😊👍

@SwiftPushkar my question about "Lust the more powerful desire" is put on hold i dont know why can you explain so i can change it ?

@Sakthi ok i will See that , and will try to give answer 😊👍👍

@SwiftPushkar I repeat again . has any higher masters ever said that " All the credit of my spiritual journey goes to the puranas" ????

@RakeshJoshi Srimad Bhagavat is not limited to Vaishnava only.

2:52 PM
@Pandya i would prefer Devi Bhagwata over Bhagwatam :)

@Sakthi - I think yoy need to change the wording in the Question , like where you came to know abt this statement of yours and other ones "The other desires like wealth,fame,power are seems to be avoided with less difficulty." ➡ cite source for you statments , right now they appear like just your personal view's. So I think it's put on hold , but again it will be a Duplicate of this

Q: How do I control and slay indriyas (senses)?

PandyaI've recently read the 3rd chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. At the end, the following is said to get control over the indriyas (senses): इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिरस्याधिष्ठानमुच्यते । एतैर्विमोहयत्येष ज्ञानमावृत्य देहिनम् ॥ ३-४०॥ The senses, the mind and the intelligence are the sitting plac...

@Sakthi I saw your post on caste. Looks like you are in favor of casteism .

@Pandya Yes very true And literally other puranas also do not exclusively fall in shaiva or shakta etc.People divided those Puranas in sect's

@RakeshJoshi in my place caste is more important and many women and men are killed by this but they are done by thier own brothers and even a boy(low caste) proposed to a girl(brahmin) and the girl refused and talked about the caste of the boy and the boy killed the girl so only i am seeking about this
@TheDestroyer hai

@SreeCharan saw that already.

3:01 PM
as such there is not caste issues in ancient time and vedas. but in recent centuries its high

@SwiftPushkar do you know about thirunallur lord shani temple slowing down chandra satellite

@TheDestroyer hello

@Sakthi @RakeshJoshi Namaskaram!

@Sakthi No i don't know abt.that 😊 also see this

A: What can I do to reduce anger, greed, lust, fear and ego?

SwiftPushkarYour question is about overcoming or wining Shadripus (षड्रिपु) meaning the six enemies of Human beings , as told in Hinduism. They are as follows. Lust (Sanskrit: Kama) (काम) Greed (Sanskrit: Lobha)(लोभ) Anger (Sanskrit: Krodha)(क्रोध) Pride (Sanskrit: Mada)(मद) Attachment (Sanskrit: Moha)(मो...

@TheDestroyer Namaskaram 💐😊👍👍👍

@RakeshJoshi now there are also religious problems in one side caste problem for intercaste marriage and other side christians convert hindus to their religion so many hindus attack christian people when they try to convert
@SwiftPushkar thanks

3:04 PM
@Sakthi ➡ असड़कल्पाज्जयेत कामं क्रोधं कामविवर्जना त।
अर्थानर्थेक्षया लोभं भयं तत्त्वावमर्शनात।।22।।

asaṅkalpāj jayet kāmaṁ krodhaṁ kāma-vivarjanāt
arthānarthekṣayā lobhaṁ bhayaṁ tattvāvamarśanāt

Meaning -By making plans with determination, one should give up lusty desires for sense gratification. Similarly, by giving up envy one should conquer anger, by discussing the disadvantages of accumulating wealth one should give up greed, and by discussing the truth one should give up fear.

@Sakthi in todays scenario inter caste marriage is no issues because hardly anyone is following as per Varna..
I think even Polygamy is also not a wrong idea keeping in mind non hindu rising population :)

@Sakthi Palanisamy became minister.
@TheDestroyer are you from andhra?

@RakeshJoshi thanks for your advice
@RakeshJoshi you are which state
@SwiftPushkar do you know about siddha medicine

TN , living in chennai. Natively frm Gujarat

3:07 PM
@RakeshJoshi Yes. Puranas are also important not Puranas alone. Puranas say greatness of Bhakti. Bhakti is easiest way to attain Moksha. "Rama Nama or Nama Japa" kind of things became famous due to puranas.
@RakeshJoshi Yes. Andhra.

@TheDestroyer if we desire for desirelessness will it be a desire
@RakeshJoshi ok you know tamil

there is no need of any purana for bhakti. even illetarate persson can be a bhakta. Reference :Varkari sect
@Sakthi speaking somewhat local . dont know to read write,

@Sakthi - no ,is it like miracle cure drug ? or devine medicine etc? 😊

@RakeshJoshi ok he will not long laster as chief minister

then who will become ? Stalin ?

3:10 PM
@Sakthi Moksha is state with no Gunas. We must kill all 3 Gunas: Satva, Rajas and Tamas to attain moksha. But path for Moksha becomes easy if we have Satva dominantly without tamas and Rajas. Lust is Rajas. We must avoid Rajas and Tamas as far as possible.

one one side you say we have to kill all gunas. then you say satva high is better.

I say that rather than killing it is needed to BALANCE the gunas in a harmony.

@RakeshJoshi Yes. Jati is based on birth. Not Varna. "Ja" in Jaati refers birth. There's no such thing in Varna.

thanks

@SwiftPushkar siddha medicine is more popular in tamilnadu because when tamilnadu faced a dengue fever all over tamilnadu modern scientists tried all the modern medicines but they were not able to cure them and then they tried a siddha medicine named NilaVembu Kasayam(Neem stem Powder) then it cured the disease then now all over tamilnadu doctors sell the siddha medicine

@RakeshJoshi Yes. keeping Satva high is recommended. But it actually depends on profession. We may not do our dharma properly if we have only Satva. A police officer can't work with Satva. One must choose properly as per profession.

3:14 PM
It should be understood that if the rajoguNa creates the urge for any activity, the sattvaguNa gives it direction and sustains it and the tamoguNa acts as a check. So adequate “checks & balances” are inherent in nature’s creation. What is therefore desirable is a balanced state of the guNa-s and not any one guNa alone.

@SwiftPushkar Siddha medicines are same as ayurvdea medicines but they were found by siddhas.
@SwiftPushkar Siddhar are the name given to the person who attained all astamaha siddhis

tirumoolar

@RakeshJoshi Yes. you are correct. But more Rajas and Tamas may hamper spiritual path. They must be needed only to fulfill Sankalpam of Moksha.

@RakeshJoshi Do you support Bhagavad-Gita?

@Pandya No I dont find BG much helpful and i found some contradictions etc. (After all it is Vedanta)

3:17 PM
Oh! :(

@SwiftPushkar it is told now also in KolliMallai(Kolli Mountian) siddhas exist but they say it is hard to see a siddha as only few saw siddhas

@RakeshJoshi Varkari sect.refer SB itself , they follw Bhagvat Dharma 😊

if you can create equilibrium among gunas then it will be better @TheDestroyer

the gunatita or other name of balance. if sattva alone is high then you cant call it balance or gunatita etc .

A: What are the Hindu scriptures which every Hindu should abide by?

cheenbabesThe most common that all sects of Hinduism can agree on would be the Bhagavad Gita. It is commonly accepted to be one of the oldest scriptures in the world, and it concisely describes the philosophy of soul, God, and their relationship.

@RakeshJoshi ^^

@SwiftPushkar in varkari only nama japa is important . many are not even literate to read and write.

3:19 PM
@RakeshJoshi i mean like true Brahmins or sages. They have Satva predominantly with required amounts of Rajas and Tamas.

@Sakthi Yes one must have true belief ,teja , and fairh in order to See and talk to siddhas ,they also examin people and only then talk .😊👍

@Pandya its sad that hinduism has become rigid like others . In fact in the past there were hindus which even did not acklnowledge vedas as ultimate .

Anyway, I can't understand how BG is not helpful to you!

@RakeshJoshi "Hindu" is not correct term. Do you mean Ancient Indians before advent of Islam or before Buddha?

Is it mandatory to follow BG if one has to remain a hindu?
BTW how many people before sankara quoted BG in their works? :)

3:22 PM
@RakeshJoshi In ancient times, Astika people believed and followed Vedas. Nastikas didn't do that.
@RakeshJoshi No need. who said?

@RakeshJoshi Yes, Kumaril Bhatta and Adi Shankaracharya have put tremendous effort on Preserving and Signifying Vedic Dharma!

@SwiftPushkar teja means what and i also heard about teja vu what is the meaning of the word

@TheDestroyer even today and in the past sects like

Aghora, Kapalika, Lakuleesha, Pashupata , Veer shaiva do not consider vedas as supreme authority.

unfortunately sankara criticized all the other existing philosophioes in his BS bhashya.
@Pandya how is Sankara and Kumarila related to this talk ?

@RakeshJoshi You've said "In fact in the past there were hindus which even did not acklnowledge vedas as ultimate"

@RakeshJoshi Veera Shaivism only critices birth based caste system. Because of that they rejected (some portions of) VEdas.

3:26 PM
yes so ??

@Sakthi I think "Teja" is simply the positive energy or the positive power one acquires through his sadhana like (Dhyana ,japa ,yoga , good behaviour etc.) 😊so one needs this to experience some thing's that normal sansari persons can't see or experience or can do😊

@SwiftPushkar Lord muruga's idol was made of Navapashana it was the only idol with medical properties to cure the people as the air gets medical property from idol and when worshipping the idol the air is breathed by people if they have headache or other disease they were cured

@Pandya yes there were and there are hindus who do not consider vedas as supreme. but how is kumarila related ?

@SwiftPushkar i am mentioning small disease not big ones

@Sakthi oh ok , this is new to me 👍👍 where is this idol in which temple?

3:28 PM
@RakeshJoshi Yes. Every Philosophy is true. We can't say only one philosophy is true. Shaiva Siddhantin was famous all over India untill Advaita due to it's logical structure. Many medival and ancient kings were Shiva Devotees who followed Shiva Siddhanta. Later many became Advaitins.

@TheDestroyer that is what i m saying . there is no standard definition of hindusim. If i dont follow BG or puranas is not much of a problem

@Sakthi ok got it👍

@SwiftPushkar my dad also said he saw the idol when he was a small boy as later the priests selled small small pieces of idol from behind for CRORES and later they replacced the idol with normal idol now if you go to palani you can only see normal idol that original idol was before 25 years

original idol at palani is made of 9 minerals .. whose water has miraclous healing . this is what i heard. but now its not used

@RakeshJoshi yes. there are many paths.

3:32 PM
@Sakthi ohh it's very sad incident😑

@Sakthi When did they sell idol?

@RakeshJoshi ok , that's really interesting , 😊👍👍

@SwiftPushkar yes tamilnadu is famous in selling hindu idols to other countries illegaly

@Sakthi very bad. Kali Yugam. But selling with Prana in them is dangerous.

@Sakthi ok as artifacts , antique iteams 😑 too sad
will be back in some time 🔙⏳

3:34 PM
is there any whats app group

@RakeshJoshi No.

@SwiftPushkar lord natarja idol was send to australia illegaly and brought again by government

3:52 PM
@SwiftPushkar do not take that Pancham Veda thing seriously

4:38 PM
@Tezz How Sivoham is Shiva + Aham ? Which Sandhi is this? Same in "Shirodhi" = Shira + Adhi. In both cases ऽ is used. "शिरोऽधि" and "शिवोहम्".

@TheDestroyer Is it Shiva+ Aham or Shivaha (with visarga) + Aham?

@KrishnShweta Shiva + Aham. Aham means "I". I am Shiva.
शिवोऽहम् Sanskrit spelling.
@KrishnShweta Whatever sandhi it is. But this Sandhi is interesting.

Hmm.. I thought it is Shivaha (with visarga). B'coz I think I didn't see aa+aa=o in Hindi.
However Sanskrit grammar may vary.

@KrishnShweta Yes. अ + अ = आ which is Savarnadheerga Sandhi.

@TheDestroyer Yeah. Interesting..

4:52 PM
Telugu Grammar is almost same as Sanskrit Grammar.

Hmm....

You are correct. it is Visarga Sandhi. Shivaha + Aham.
शिवः + अहम

OK.
In Dwapara Yuga question, what OP written in 1st line?
In my lappy it is showing 3 boxes.

Namaskara Smiley and

Oh!! OK

4:59 PM
@KrishnShweta lol. Why? Chrome update chey. I think your OS doesn't support them.

My lappy started working slowly again... :(
OK... I'll update.

@KrishnShweta haha. Girls laptops usually work slow. :P

Oh please, I'm not one of them. I'll make it work faster.
@TheDestroyer Btw, true but Girls- me(girl) ;)

See these Tejonanda teachings
yesterday, by Tezz
When the teacher pronounced "This is whole that is whole, this whole comes from that whole, although the whole is formed what remains is the whole"
yesterday, by Tezz
The student understood it as ""This is hole that is whole, this hole comes from that hole, although the hole is formed what remains is the hole"
yesterday, by Tezz
In the next place another teacher pronounced
""This is full that is full, this full comes from that full, although the full is formed what remains is the full"
yesterday, by Tezz
The student understood it as:
""This is fool that is fool, this fool comes from that fool, although the fool is formed what remains is the fool."

5:08 PM
@KrishnShweta Girls - Girl = Girl(s) but Girl - Girl = Atman and Girls - Girls = Atman.
:P

Naakem ardham kaala :(
@TheDestroyer 4 times I read that.
Advaita
Anthe kada...
Opps.... You just changed whole right?

I wanted to say Atma was indivisible but not other layers of body.
@KrishnShweta inspired from it. haha.

@Tezz do you know any story which describes Devi or Adi Shakti with eyes of hands?

5:23 PM
hi

Hello Mr. Joshi...

How are you

@RakeshJoshi Yes i do take that saying seriously 😊

@SwiftPushkar that is the root cause of this inclination. there should be logic also applied in shastra.

@SwiftPushkar what is Panchama Veda?

5:28 PM
@RakeshJoshi I'm good... you?

I am ok thanks :) @KrishnShweta

Some say Mahabharata is 5th veda.

last but not the least Geeta is also equated with Veda :(

@TheDestroyer I do not know about names of Sandhi... are you reading about Sandhi names.. ?..
@Pandya in most cases Smritis explain (or influenced by) Shrutis...😀😀
@TheDestroyer I don't know any story which says Devi having eyes in her hands...

@Tezz I'm learning "Ayigiri Nandini.." Song. It says "Vindhya Shirodini" . I saw Sandhi of Shirodini . it is split as Shira + Adhi. This is not Dheerga Sandhi. So, got the doubt.

5:33 PM
@TheDestroyer Oh I don't know about Sandhi names/rules.. I just split based on my experience (ie. Usage).. haha..
@KrishnShweta at one place I forgot to remove "w" of whole...

@TheDestroyer Wow!! what is the name of that song? My father used to play it :)
@Tezz yeah... :)

@TheDestroyer where are you learning from... YouTube?..

@KrishnShweta I think we discussed about this song. It's "Mahishasura Mardini" written by Tenali Ramakrishna.
@Tezz greenmesg

@TheDestroyer Oh I thought Adi Shankara wrote it...
@TheDestroyer Ok..

@TheDestroyer OK..

5:38 PM
@Tezz yes. youtube for pronunciation and greemesg for meaning.

@TheDestroyer Piranas are called pancham veda ➡I think a verse might be there in those which I have given to you for Your puranas answer.We find mentioning of this Pancham Veda thing in many puranas.

@Tezz Some people attribute it to Adi Shankara while other attribute it to Rama Krishna Kavi.
@SwiftPushkar Ok. I think i read that too. But few Acharyas consider Mahabharata as panchama Veda.

@RakeshJoshi No that is not the root cause , but it's the realisation that every text is saying the same thing and pointing towards the same thing ,that is the cause😊
@TheDestroyer oh ,ok ...I didn't knew that , we will search abt.that😊👍

this statement should not be taken literally because STILL puanas and itihasa ARE NOT TAKEN AS EQUAL TO shruti pramaana.
so we should not take it seriously and counter a vedic statement with a puranic. :)

@TheDestroyer Oh ... I think we discussed about it before...

5:42 PM
@SwiftPushkar I'm not sure about that. I don't think Mahabharata says that. But i think due to its importance some Acharyas may consider it like that. Even Bhagavadgita is part of Bharata.

all the acharyas of the yore have categorized the pramaanas and i think puranas is even lesser than Itihasa in this list.
even your Vedantins followed this tradition. so please consider this .

@RakeshJoshi - Yes ,I am here not refuting higher authority of Shruti's at all ,I certainly 100% agree with that , but my point is puranas also do not contradict or conflict wirh Shruti's..I will tell you abt.this later on 😊👍👍

then pray tell me why is purana not considered as equal to Rig veda ? if its pancham veda ? @SwiftPushkar

@TheDestroyer I think Mahabharata itself states it as fifth Veda one time...

@RakeshJoshi - What i mean is ,puranas do tell us the same thing told by vedas ,and upanishadas.

5:45 PM
MBH has been edited several times and there are many unexplained controversies

If puranss talk of same thing that of Vedas then they must be considered as good as Vedas or at least in the 2nd level no? @SwiftPushkar

@RakeshJoshi yes I agree with you that the statement Panchama Veda Shouldn't be taken literally.. and considered as Pramana as Vedas...

@Tezz ohh. Where does it say?

some time back you were saying that you have taken this statement in a serious way so i was wondering

5:48 PM
@RakeshJoshi I think the word veda (in case of puranas) is only used as a "Knowladge" , ie.fifth one.But puranas themselves accepts full authority of vedas and Upanishadas and called themselves as just extension of those.

@TheDestroyer see that wiki page:

the verse of chandogya is more of saying that after vedas, these things can also be considered

@TheDestroyer ok 😊

This reference to itihasa was used by the Mahabharata, which belonged to the class of epic literature called "itihasa", to refer to itself as the fifth Veda.[3] @TheDestroyer

and upanishad are considered later to moola vedas. hence we do not find such statement of third or fifth vedas in main section.

5:50 PM
Looks like every text is claiming for position of 5th Veda😀

@TheDestroyer haha.. lol.. 😀😀

@Tezz oh ok , I think Itihaas + puranas combined is called pancham veda , but i will Check all the verses which i have compiled abt.puranas Tomorrow and will tell you abt.that😊👍👍
@TheDestroyer haha lol😀😀👍👍👍

hence it is because the fact that Puranas have some issues they are not taken as higher authority scripture

@SwiftPushkar yes, Itihasa Purana are Panchama Veda as they explain Shruti stories...

Hey all see this➡"A puraanam is not a SHORT STORY .IT IS VERY VERY ELABORATE THAT explains By Sarga and Prati Sarga , the Vamsam, Manvantaram and Maqnvantaraanicham too....So elaborate PURAANAM IS.It tries to explain Vedic Dharmas by so many Parables, So many Examples etc. "

5:54 PM
@RakeshJoshi we can take only those part seriously in Purana which have base in Shruti... rest we may just neglect if needed...

@SwiftPushkar yes. they are characteristics of a Purana.

then better to refer shrutis directly .. rather than taking a tedious task of going thru the purana and matchint it with vedas !!

Puraanam is a detailed narration of what Dharma is explained in a beautiful style. @Tezz - Yes but there are very few contradictions btw.those two.rare case

@SwiftPushkar what beautiful style ? Shiva's erect phallus being cursed by the gods that it should fall off ?

@RakeshJoshi No, Shrutis only give reference and Puranas explain it... for eg:

5:57 PM
@TheDestroyer @TheDestroyer Yes. It is visarga sandhi. शिवः+ अहम् = शिवोऽहम् Same as pranatosmi प्रणतः + अस्मि = प्रणतोऽस्मि

See this chapter of Shatapatha Brahmana where Lord Shivas AshtaMurti Incarnations are stated.. sacred-texts.com/hin/sbr/sbe41/sbe4130.htm @RakeshJoshi
@RakeshJoshi Now, it is difficult to understand AshtaMurti concept from only that passage...

@RakeshJoshi They are telling us the facts , we should not look at that and some other parts in some diff.way , as our mind is so much corrupted in these days.because of media and all other stuff.But in previous yugas people's approch toward's these thing's were diff.

@RakeshJoshi Now, see in my answer here, how Puranas explain it:
3
A: What's the relation between Lord Shiva and Lord Shani Dev?

TezzShani Deva is the son of Lord Shiva through his AshtaMurty forms. AshtaMurti forms are the 8 major forms of Lord Shiva which are described in this chapter of Yajurveda Shatapatha Brahmana. The eight forms described there are: Form of Fire, Form of Water, Form of Air, Form of Indra, Form of Pl...
