@SreeCharan I haven't heard the name of that demon Padma Sura... do you know something more about him?..
@TheDestroyer what I think is Nasadiya Sukta describes Avyakta and we are not in position to gain true knowledge of that Sukta...
@sakthi going by that interpretation of Wikipedia Adi Buddha is the one who first attained enlightened.. then it is not possible at all . .. because there were infinite Buddhas who were and who will be attaining Buddhatatwo.. If it is talking about first Buddha of present Kalpa then it is Kakusandha Buddha (not Adi Buddha)...
@sakthi and if it is only mentioned by Vajrayana then it is not accepted by maximum in Buddhism.. for eg the traditional Buddhism which is Theravada doesn't recognize Vajrayana.. even Mahayana doesn't recognize Vajrayana...
@sakthi Vajrayana is based on tantric revelation where other Buddhas (not Gautama) came and revealed the Knowledge in dreams and so on..

@Tezz @Pandya I just found an interesting quote by Yamunacharya concerning pre-Shankara Vedanta philosophers:
"For the sake of this objective, the Sutras were written by Bhagavat Badarayana; they were then explained by the author of the bhashya, which expressed tersely their profound meaning; this was explained in detail by Bhagavat Srivatsankamishra who declared the truth profound as an ocean. Nevertheless people, whose minds have become confused because they relied upon the works, both good and bad, written by the masters Tanka, Bhartriprapancha, Bhartrimitra, Bhartrihari, Brahmadatta, Shankara, Srivatsanka and Bhaskara have not understood it correctly and have embraced different views. It is t
@Tezz @Pandya I think this Bhashyakara is the same one discussed in my question here, who may be Dramidacharya:
6
Q: Who is the Bhashyakara who pretended to criticize Pancharatra?

Keshav SrinivasanAs I discuss in this answer, one of the early movements that was important to the development of Vaishnavism was the ancient Pancharatra movement, whose sacred texts consisted of detailed procedures to worship the sage Narayana, an ancient incarnation of Vishnu. Since the Pancharatra texts origin...

@KeshavSrinivasan "Nevertheless people, whose minds have become confused because they relied upon the works" Hmm.. I insist on realization

@Pandya Haha yeah, if you attain Brahmajnana there's no risk of such confusion.
@Pandya By the way, Dramidacharya wrote a commentary on Tanka's Vakya on the Chandogya Upanishad, which I discuss here:
3
Q: What Chandogya Upanishad verse is the sevenfold discipline of Bhakti Yoga related to?

Keshav SrinivasanAs I discuss in this question, by far the most popular school of Hindu philosophy is the Vedanta school, which bases its tenets on the doctrines laid out in the Brahma Sutras, a work by the sage Vyasa that summarizes and systematizes the philosophical teachings of the Upanishads. You can read the...

@Pandya Adi Shankaracharya quotes Dramidacharya's commentary on Tanka's Vakya in his Chandogya Upanishad Bhashya.

@KeshavSrinivasan Btw, Have you any idea to Check/Varify spiritual-level? i.e how are we far from attain Param Satya? I think "Yoga" (one of the 6 Darshan) can help. /cc @Tezz
@KeshavSrinivasan Are there any steps in Sharnangti?
@KeshavSrinivasan I know that it will be Vishnu's responsibility after you perform Sharanangati. I want to know whether one who performs Sharanngati attains Jnana (or does there increase in spiritual level) gradually day to day? In other words, Do he aware how he is far from Param Satya?
Are the above ideas/discussions/philosophy I'm talking, has any significance or pointless.

@Pandya What happens after you perform Sharanagati is that Vishnu gradually fills your heart with love for him, which will naturally lead you to do Bhakti Yoga.

In brief I'm looking for (no matter we are on Jnana marga or Bhakti marga) how do we know how far is the Param Satya!? /cc @Tezz

@Tezz @Pandya I just posted a question about Dramidacharya:
0
Q: Is Dramidacharya the same as Thirumazhisai Alwar?

Keshav SrinivasanThe Alwars (also spelled Azhwars) are a group of 12 ancient Vaishnava saints who lived in Tamil Nadu and are famous for their devotional poetry in praise of Vishnu. The collection of their 4000 poems, known as the Naalayira Divya Prabhandam, is considered by many to be the "Dravida Veda", or Sout...

@Tezz @Pandya It would be interesting if Adi Shankaracharya quoted Thirumazhisai Alwar.
