@chinmay I do feel that Sri M is not a realized soul. He might have met Babji but i don't think he is realized soul. Realized souls will stay away from all politics. See this timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/…

@Creator Now that's another misconception, Babaji specifically said that people should know that even a householder can attain that absolute union with Brahman. Lahiri Mahasaya was a married person? Wasn't he a great realized soul? Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the great guru of Swami Vivekananda was also married, does that mean he was not realized?
@Creator And you're wrong, any one who has realized Brahman is one and same. If you become realized in this life, there will be no difference left between you and Adi Shankaracharya or Sri Ramanujacharya.

12:14 PM
@TheDestroyer PM Modi is his friend so I think he can speak about him. And as I said before, Sri M is on walk of hope, so on his way from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, many chief ministers have joined him on the yatra. Please visit the official website of Walk of Hope: walkofhope.in
@TheDestroyer We may find his statements as related to politics but in reality they are not. He just wants peace in the world and unity among all the people. All he wants is that everyone should live in harmony and progress spiritually to achieve the ultimate goal - Moksha.

@ChinmaySarupria I didn't even mentioned once about the Grihastas not attaining Moksha or something like that
even Great Ramanujacharya was a Grihasta before Sanyasa
First of all lets talk about the Shastras talking about Yoga, Shrimad Bhagwad Gita talks about Jnana Karma and Bhakti. All other Types of Yogas are just human Creation including hata Raja and Kriya Yoga
I was talking about Sri M Practicing Dharma Shastra Points
He never Practiced Dharma Shastras and you believe him to have attained Anything like jnana?? Moksha can be attained by Realization through Bhakti Karma And Jnana. Jnana the highest path is only given to peopled who follow Certain Rules

12:54 PM
@Creator From where did you get the idea that Sri M never practiced "Dharma Shastras"? He spent more than 3 years with his guru, Maheshwaranath Babaji, in Himalayas studying various scriptures including Upanishads, Gita etc..

@Creator Are you sure Raja and Hata Yoga are human creations?
@ChinmaySarupria You don't find realized souls in Human world. They live in seclusion from this world. i think Sri M was taught true meaning of Spirituality. Many people are now religious and he was interested in going to himalayas from childhood to know true spirituality. I personally don't oppose him but i don't think he is realized soul.
@ChinmaySarupria A realized soul has his Muladhara chakra united with Sahasra Chakra with serpent flow if he followed Kundalini and he is free from maya. What yoga technique did Sri M use if he is realized soul?

@ChinmaySarupria The first and foremost proof is Wearing Sacred Thread and Performing Nitya Karmas like Sandhyavandana
or Living with Tridandi or Just a Stick if Initiated into Sanyasashrama
@TheDestroyer Yeah Because Shastras never explicitly mention anything related to Kriya yoga and its principles its the Tantra Shastras or Shaiva and Shakta Agamas that talk about it

@TheDestroyer His Muladhara chakra is united with Sahasrara Chakra, the whole process is mentioned in the book. It was done using a special technique which includes Soma rasa. That's why I said you to read his autobiography, it has all your questions answered.
@Creator If a person doesn't wears sacred thread, does that mean he can't attain Moksha? Interesting theory.

Its not theory I am not saying that you cannot attain Moksha. Where did I mention Moksha even once
@ChinmaySarupria For Jnana Yoga which allows one to become a Teacher/Preacher to anybody . So without Jnana Yoga no one not even Bramhana Can become Preacher
@ChinmaySarupria Do the author Even know the Original Composition of Soma Rasa, I think the author is just blabbering idiotic things
Soma Rasa is nowhere related to Kriya Yoga. Soma Rasa is used for a Yagna known as Soma Yagna
Somayag (Devanagri सोमयाग) or Somayajna (Devanagri सोमयज्ञ) is a spiritual Vedic yajna ritual performed for appeasing the celestial entities in the Vedic culture. It is primarily performed to promote the wellbeing of all humanity. The ritual is based on methods prescribed in the Vedas. Soma juice is used as the main oblation in this yajna, hence the name Somayag. The Soma plant, the king of medicinal herbs, is said to be relished by the celestials. == Types == In a Somayag there is a full complement of priests, with each of them being assisted by three others. In all sixteen priests participate...
@ChinmaySarupria Even if you believe in him that he had Somarasa You need to be initiated into Shastra Study Formally(Upnayana) and need to wear a Yagnopavita in order to get the Soma Yagna Procedure Correctly. And even to handle Soma Rasa Even if you are Performing Sacrifice in presence of A realised Person or Bramhan Himself.
Upanayana is one of the traditional saṃskāras (rites of passage) that marked the acceptance of a student by a guru (teacher) and an individual's entrance to a school in Hinduism. The tradition is widely discussed in ancient Sanskrit texts of India and varies regionally. The upanayana was restricted in many medieval Indian texts to the upper three of the four varnas (castes) of society — brahmins, kshatriyas and vaishyas. However, Vedic period texts such as the Baudhāyana Grihyasutra encouraged all members of society to undergo the upanayana, even shudras. Women were encouraged to undergo upanayana...
For Jnana yoga
we need Initiation in Vedic Studies.

4:11 PM
@ChinmaySarupria Yeah, @Creator is right, the sacred thread is required for acquiring Jnana. See this section and subsequent sections of Adi Shankaracharya's Brahma Sutra Bhashya: sacred-texts.com/hin/sbe34/sbe34103.htm
