Are elderly people able to sustain such long duration fasting?

i'm not that old.

other elderly people

mostly i just get bored with all the free time i'm not spending eating. eating is a significant time-waster for me.

but too droozy to do much in the way of being productive.

I heard some people align time to mecca time where fasting duration is big

like in sweden etc

just finished watching the '56 version of the Ten Commandments yesterday. that's a long movie.

those countries have 22hr fasts

your writing is great , you should write some technical islamic books

no, i'm really not a great writer.

putting out a good post is very laborious.

and in my experience, people who learn Islam from technical books are sorta missing the whole point of having the Qur'an.

Has anyone looked into when was the first translation of the Quran took place?

I read it was during the Prophets time

or at least it was Salman al-Farsi who translated surah al-fatiha into Persian
