Great update otherwise. I was expecting the Pro bump - apparently TB3 needs more time for all the wheels to align?

@bmike I'm wondering if TB3 will be a firmware update once the MBP and TB3 display are announced.

Almost inconceivable. Intel does the logic boards and everyone takes apart the new models - so for them to put in the chipset and not announce would be incredibly odd IMO.

Thunderbolt is pretty obvious - but we will have to wait till someone pokes at the innards to know for sure.

I"m guessing Apple wants NVMe storage for all the hardware it puts TB3 in.
