PSA: If there's already a Low Quality Post review comment or other relevant and correct comment on a post in the queue, there's no need to add your own comment. Choose 'No comment required' in the Delete/Recommend Deletion popup. This occurs far to often:
@TheBro21 I've flagged as NAA. It's a 'thank you' answer wrapped in obfuscating backstory.

@grgarside thanks george. A lot of the moderation is being handled very well by users on the site. Voting down, commenting - excellent work.
Now the finesse starts to be something you can consider. i.e. not piling on with a duplicate flag, not piling on with the same comment, etc...
Let us know on meta if the review tools aren't working to show you comments when you make them - I'm guessing that one of the review tools is hiding comments
I'll try to mark things as "helpful" even when I'm declining to take further action on them per the request from @Mattia and @TheBro21 as well as your input above George.

@bmike The action the mod team takes on a flag of mine is more important to me than whether the flag is marked helpful or not. Of course, declining a flag is a good indicator of the action that was taken and/or the mod's view on the matter at hand, but marking flags as helpful (even though it helps retain my >99% flag accuracy over thousands of flags!) when you would have otherwise declined them doesn't help me "understand how it's not NAA"?

9:04 PM
@grgarside yup - I'll choose helpful and then comment why I'm not taking action.
I try also to explain a decline as well - but it doesn't always happen - especially when mobile
Also - I do make an effort to be verbose when there's a pattern. I wouldn't worry about the occasional one in 20 flag declines. Heck - some declines are a fat fingered push of the wrong button. no way to revisit that - but we do still take action on the post in question then. (as long as we realize we messed up)

A: How can I find out the size of a video file on my iPhone 6 camera roll?

Tibor_KuBoth OneDrive and Dropbox etc. show you the file size as soon as you start to upload the video. Once you've glanced at the video size, there's nothing stopping you from cancelling the upload right away so you dont spend unnecessary data. An option that needs no upload is the View Exif app exten...

I purged all the comments :-)
@Mark I've also deleted comments - edited significantly the close voted question below and reopened the linked one:

Q: Is there a way to do SMS from the PC with iOS?

AngryHackerIs there a way to implement handoff to iOS so my PC running windows can send iMessage/SMS through bluetooth and iOS cellular data connections. This is analogous to MightyText on PC does to Android hardware and cellular service. I know I can do iMessage on the Mac, but I do not own that hardware...

Q: Looking for a way to send SMS/iMessages from a Windows PC via a virtual OS X installation

AngryHackerSince I have no good answers for this 2 years old question and I am wondering what's the practical possibility of running a Mac OS X in a VirtualBox VM (I haven't tried this) and using the built-in functionality of OS. Basically, even though the licensing for OS X doesn't allow virtualization on...

Both seem to be: I want a PC to use handoff to iOS so that iMessages/SMS can be sent

@bmike the questions appear much better now - I suspect the answer will be no especially on sending from a PC -can you remove my close vote as well?

@bmike Thanks, makes it much clearer.

@Mark not easily - it will expire in a short time, though
@Mark I too was confused the first time I read it
(the older question especially)
