Quick question to anybody who knows about iCloud Drive...
If I upgrade to iCloud drive, I can still access everything *online* right? On any OS? The only limitation will be that I cannot use the *embedded iCloud* on OSX unless I have Yosemite right?
It means you lock out old clients from the data they used to have access to. Your data gets migrated to a new API / new server store. It's still all online for the new clients and new OS.
$ sudo softwareupdate -ai
Installing Pro Video Formats
Done with Pro Video Formats
Done.
keep using that word, Apple http://t.co/fEIzQB4a3A
@bmike great! So I can safely upgrade and still use iCloud as I used to (I don't have any Mac computers with an OS greater than snow leopard, so I never have used the embedded iCloud) ?
@grgarside not sure - I can't seem to find flag history for comments - probably since they are so minor in the first place.
I'd say - flag and move on - it's not to the point where it's harming things. Yes - it's chatty, but there's a cost to looking at each comment and deciding if/when to clean them. It will get nuked when there is a bigger problem or too many comments on that post.
