@CapyStenchbeast
if you post here, is it broken too?

No, it seems to happen in rooms where I have been very active.
I used my iPad exclusively for about six months, and just got a new laptop a couple of weeks ago. The rooms I was in on the iPad are the problem.

I wonder if you switch to mobile view and try editing last or putting with the options, it would clear up
I bet - so the iPad text leaks over to web interface or just iPad is broken?

Hmm. Mobile view doesn't have the same problem!
But mobile view is terrible.
I only use the iPad while I'm in bed now, so it isn't worth going to any trouble to fix it. I appreciate the help though!

Does anyone know if it's possible to issue commands to a Time Capsule? I just got a warning saying that I need to make a new backup because of some verification issue and I want to make a new copy of some old folders from the .sparsebundle backup disk. However, it seems that the data is going through my computer first. All this stuff is already on the Time Capsule's HDD. It's absurd to say that in order to modify its contents all the data has to pass through my computer first.
I can tell because iStat Menus is telling me that my network upload speed is 6MB/s, and I can't think of any reason other than "the stuff I'm copying is coming from my computer".
If this impossible (is it because the Time Capsule isn't actually a fully operational computer and therefore can't do file io on itself?) my plan is to connect via ethernet and leave it overnight to copy or something. Please ping me if anyone thinks of something. I probably won't be back online until 5 AM UTC, so please make sure the message pings me, or I won't be able to see it.

@Arc676 You could ask on the main site about jailbreaking your particular version of firmware and hardware.
In general, it's not something I see a lot of. You're right about the round trip - the file server isn't fast by any measures. You might need to just attach a USB drive and clone all the data to a drive and then work on it / wipe the TC and start over there.

Q: ffmpeg working from command line in Terminal but not in an Automator shell script!

TheLearnerI have just compiled my own copy of ffmpeg on my system and it's located in the following path: /opt/local/bin/ffmpeg When I run the following command in Terminal.app, it runs smooth: ffmpeg -i /Users/Amit/Documents/input.avi -c:v copy -c:a aac -b:a 384k -strict -2 /Users/Amit/Documents/outpu...

Q: Bash script not working on Automator but working from terminal

SpaceDogI have this bash script that works perfectly on terminal #!/bin/bash for f in "$@"; do DIRNAME="$(dirname "$f")" filename=$(basename "$f") name="${filename%.*}" extension="${filename##*.}" /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -i "$f" -filter_complex 'scale=1920:1080, pad=2134:1200:107:60' "$DIRNA...

Im not sure they shouldn't be closed as dupes
@SpaceDog Go ahead and answer it, but I might still want to close it as dupe if the question isn't clearly differentiated. Does that work?

@bmike : thanks. You will see that my answer goes beyond the other question, probably because the problem was not exactly the same... thanks.

Thanks for working to get it right
