I'm really smitten with the 6+ -- I think it'd make a nice "commuter" phone where I want a bigger screen to "do stuff" on my commute and don't care that it won't fit in my pocket.

Also, the 6+ has really stoked my desire to have a car dock that simply keeps my phone charged, mounted securely, integrated with an amplifier and mic. I already had that desire when the iPad Mini dropped, but it was lacking LTE support so it was perfect for this. But the 6+ is perfect for the car.

Anyone wanting to screen record can now do so for free over the USB cable.

Just plug into your computer, select the iPhone as source in your input list in quicktime

Record direct to .mov, and best of all, it automatically replaces your status bar with one showing 9:41 as the time, 100% battery, and removed your cell connection name, just like Apple's demos...

Of course, file sizes are large, but the quality is way superior to recording over Airplay, which give you not only your own battery and cell details, but also a bright blue highlight when airplay mirroring is on.

Interesting, export the huge thing down to 720p (same as what my AirPlay client records at), the filesize is identical, the quality is way better. No need for AirServer any more...

Excellent for capturing bug reports. I think I will redo my crop bug question. Can we embed videos into posts on here, and have them preview with an inline player, or is is links only?
